The International Suppliers Fair (IZB)

The IZB is a major gathering and has a prominent reputation as one of the largest specialist trade fairs for the automotive supplier industry. Every two years, hundreds of exhibitors present the latest trends and innovations in the industry in line with the event's motto of “Connecting Car Competence". The organiser Wolfsburg AG will then welcome guests from all continents at the exhibition grounds in the Allerpark Wolfsburg.

The high-quality exhibitors and large number of key decision-makers among the trade visitors that attend the IZB make it an important communication and business platform. The same applies to the IZB Congress "Automotive Supplier Summit", which traditionally marks the kick-off of this international industry rendezvous. The Congress is being organised and hosted by the Institute for Production Management (IPM AG) from Hanover.

Supplier Companies Present their Expertise and Products

The IZB took place for the tenth time in the city of Wolfsburg in 2022. The choice of the focus topic shone the spotlight on digital solutions and interfaces for products, production and processes within the industry. With around 940 exhibiting companies from 37 different countries, the IZB 2022 attracted around43,000 trade visitors from all over the world.

The 12th IZB will take place again in Wolfsburg in October 2024.

Facts and Figures

The International Suppliers Fair (IZB) has taken place in Wolfsburg since 2001, and since 2004 in two-year intervals. Temporary exhibition grounds with over 38,000 square metres of exhibition space are built up each time for this purpose in the Allerpark in Wolfsburg.

The German Federal State of Lower Saxony, the Volkswagen Group and the city of Wolfsburg are patrons of the IBZ.

The Role Played by Wolfsburg AG

Wolfsburg AG has been responsible for hosting the International Suppliers Fair (IZB) since 2001,  making an important contribution towards the establishment of the Wolfsburg region as a prime location and centre of expertise for the mobility industry both in Germany and on an international level.
